I think the XMPP bot really needs to be redesigned. The web interface is great, but the interaction via XMPP is a completely different experience. I think it's a little hard to translate Jaiku directly into IM. With the added detail that can be included using XML in XMPP a brilliant Jaiku client could be built, but just using an IM app it's pretty useless, at least for me..
